Make a lasting impact by funding a park project that speaks to you.

The Fauquier Parks Foundation is fundraising for numerous projects across the county. Become a Patrons of the Parks today and donate to the specific park or program you wish to support. Below are just a few of our current initiatives.

Neavil’s Mill

at Starke Park

This Eighteenth Century Mill was operated by George Neavil and remained in use until 1932. It was restored in 1962 by the Warrenton Antiquarian Society as a memorial to the early settlers of Fauquier County. The Fauquier Parks Foundation seeks your support to once again bring this landmark to life, transforming it into an arts and learning space.

C.M. Crockett Park

C.M. Crockett Park is the county's largest lakeside park offering a wide range of recreational opportunities including fishing, seasonal boat rentals, boat launch, picnicking, games, orienteering courses, and trails. FPF is raising funds to create, update, and expand on numerous Crockett Park offerings.

Riverside Park

Opened in 2019, Riverside Preserve borders the Rappahannock River and provides miles of nature trails. In 2021, a kayak-canoe launch was completed that connects river-goers to take-out locations in Remington and Kelly’s Ford. Future plans include additional trails and a nature education center in a restored barn in the park.
